Well...It has been refinished and it is now a pistol grip gun with a Dogs Head buttplate, it is still a 26" gun and has the beavertail, single trigger, ejectors. The barrels will not come off (hook must be stuck) so I can not see the flats very well. This answers why there is no serial number on the trigger guard though. It looks like a Del Grego refinish. Thank you! Scott

If you dry fire it and then take the forarm off you will have to manually recock the ejectors and on a BTF this is a real pain. I would NOT dry fire and take the forarm off. I have learned the hard way

you should beable to dry fire it . i just tried my VHE skeet gun .dry fired it and took forend off and my ejectors did not kick than take the barrels off. mine used to kick every time i took the forend off, found out there was something off in the sear timing between receiver and forend ejectors. i had that fixed . if they do kick just use a wood dowel to reset them.

I'm looking at a Parker with Serial Number 240067 (post 1934). Just curious if someone could please let me know what grade the gun was born with when it left Meridian, CT ? I'm wanting to determine this before requesting a PCGA Letter. Thx! WMH
