Checkered Triggers

Has anyone seen checkered trigger(s) on an LC Smith shotgun? I have one with double triggers that does and I understand that LC Smith ledgers do not list them. I'm sure they could be ordered from the factory but I would like to know what might be out there.

Thanks to Double Lab, I learned that checkered triggers were offered by LCS as an option for...are you ready for this...10 cents...as late as 1941.

I've since learned that the ten-cent figure was probably what the engraver was paid.
