Question
My Vh shooter I bought 2 years ago would not open on my last outing. On the previous hunt it worked fine and afterwards I cleaned it put the snap caps in. I had to force open the barrels and noticed both snap caps were cracked. Now the triggers ,safety, and opening lever do not work. The shotgun is basically devoid of any coloring and the stock is not original but I enjoyed hunting with it. Is it worth fixing or should I just accept the loss. By the way I bought it for $200 from my ex-wife(Ha! Ha!, no comments please)

Yes you stole the gun, if the barrels are in good shape they are worth more then that ! Anyway I think your gun needs a good strip and clean and I will bet it will be good as new.
