Bill,
I think your Parker may have Parker Steel barrels and could have ejectors (the shells are flung from the barrels afterbeing shot). Open the gun to make sure it is unloaded (this also cocks the hammers as well as the ejectors). Close the gun and pull the lever in the center of the forend and it should com right off. Harry |

I too, cannot remove my forearm on my 197249 - 1922 - "plain/jane" - I'm trying to
follow the steps on this site - so I can discern the rest of the "stamps"! Yes, I'm NEW, BUT...I've been huntin' and shootin' with shotguns for 50 yrs., and embarrassed to say "I don't know how to break it down"! Please HELP! Don Dabro - THANKS for eveything! |

No ejectors, it comes off if I constantly fiddle with it! And I mean alot of fiddling!
