Default Parker vs Smith 16 ga challenge

LC Smith won the 16 ga challenge event Thursday by a 7 bird margin.
127 to 120.
Mike Konseki was high overall Parker score (combined qualifying and final event). Mike took the 2nd place trophy after a great shoot off against LC Smith shooter: Adam Pickett.
Dave Fjelline shot the highest score of any shooter in the final event. (27 out of 30)

There were shoot offs for all 6 places for the individual trophies.
We had 95 full squads go thru for qualifying. I don't know how many individual shooters.

We are planning to do it again next year for 16 ga. Same format.

There has been a lot of requests for a 20 gauge event. So for next year we will also be running a 20 gauge challenge event on the other five stand. Run as the same format as the 16 ga just on the five stand to the left on Thursday as well. So next year bring your 16 gauge and 20 gauge guns and come out and shoot for team Parker. Team Parker needs your help by coming out and shooting and participating.
More details and information will come up as we move along in the upcoming months.

We could not have done this without the efforts and hard work done by Rick Hemingway and his staff. They are true professionals. Also thank you to Brianna (she makes it happen).
A big thanks to Steve Arnett (from team LC) for allowing us to use the score board that he made for the challenge events.

Mr Jim Dispagno has already offered up some really cool poster prints which we will give out at next years event.

All my best and thank you all again,

John

20ga. event. Now you're talking. That should be a real draw.

I agree with Buddy. A 20 gauge shoot will be wonderful. Thanks to PGCA and LC Smith leadership for another great experience at the Southern SxS.
