I've always wanted a Parker with dogs engraved on the side but this gun is in pretty bad shape. Poorly replaced butt stock that is cracked, non-matching forearm and non-matching 30" Vulcan barrels. I would probably go ahead buy it if the price was right but he is asking a GRAND for it.

Not a auction just for sale on GB ITEM#627724105. A hot mess.

on the other hand - that is better than average engraving for a "Trojan"

if we started a thread for seller's ads who excel in hyperbole and ultra hyping Parkers (not to mention every other maker) - no one would have time to read them all, there are dozens every day - most best read as fiction and entertainment

my most recent favorite was the guy who had the beat up FOX A listed as the rarest of rare HE's - at least he listened to people and relisted the grade correctly but still lots of glorious prose. every gun he had is rare.

I once had the opportunity to spend some time with a fine fellow who ran a used car lot. He would declare in a fine southern drawl (mind you this was in Minnesota) that everyone of his junkers was a "real jewel."
