For those who will be going to the Northern/Rock Mtn event - please keep in mind that gents are paying to shoot a TOURNAMENT with dedicated score keepers, and for Fox shooters in particular there are the plaudits for the association's annual championships. Gents will be trying to shoot their best. Now, for example, let's say you're driving down the hill and you see some people you know, shooting at a station nearby the road. It's bad form to park your car there and interrupt the group and the concentration of the guy who's up shooting or of the next shooter in queue. And how do you make up for your interruption if one of them misses a bird there and he loses the tournament by one bird? Surely it's nice to catch up with friends while at SxS events but there's a time and place for that, and cutting in to chat while a mixed squad of friends/random people are shooting at a tournament station isn't the time nor place.

Good point Frank...
But like they say, "Sporting Clays is nothing more than Golf with a shotgun." And it seems to get more and more so. .
