Default PARKERS IN KULL AUCTION, TOPEKA KANSAS

Six Parkers in today's auction. I bid on four & got one. A 16 gauge DH.

Lot #949 16 gauge DH SN 1768443 ? (I believe they put one too many 4's) Went for $2,600 + the vig.

Lot #950 12 gauge H Grade Damascus SN 61222
Lot #951 12 gauge BH SN 61222 (misidentified as a DH) $4,000 + the vig (shown with another unidentified gun)
Lot #952 20 gauge Trojan SN 165232 $3,000 + the vig
Lot #953 12 gauge H Grade SN 115310
Lot #954 12 gauge SC Grade SN 198486 (misidentified as a SA or SB Grade) $2,900 + the vig
There were two muzzleloaders identified as Parker and Parker Bros. Lots # 946 & 947.

It sure can be confusing when you can't be there to eyeball the gun in person

Best Regards, George

That seems like an awfully good price for a BH, was there some reason for it only selling for $1000 more than the Trojan?

Robin: Only that they had it listed as SN N94199 and had the action & forearm of another non-Parker gun included in the catalogue picture thus confusing the issue. I bid it up to $3,900 and should have gone further. The guy taking my phone bids said that my opponent on the floor never took his number down. The estimate was $2750 - $3500. It would have helped a lot to have been there.

Best Regards, George
