Daniel, in what year was your Parker made?
The original hang tag may have stated it was made to shoot 2 3/4" shells. .

Thanks. That is what most said. Purchased the gun for Prairie grouse. 1 frame at 6 1/2 lb. should be a fun to carry all day. Last week, I Tried it on pheasants tower shoot using the full barrel first. then on a walk up after. It worked well !
