Have you tried loading any of the steel shells that were with that gun ?
Incidently you beat me to the punch on that one as I had the same idea

Rick: The shotgun looks very nice can't wait to handle it!!! The stool appears to be in mint condition and has tons of appeal, what a great gun room accessory. You better start thinking about a used overstuffed chair for that new Golden pup that is heading to your home.
