Help w DHE that opens upon firing

Wouldn't you know it, I had my best sporting clays round ever, and my gun wouldn't stay latched. The action opened on my first shot only once (I still relatched and took the pair

, but about half the time on the second shot ). What is wrong and can I get it repaired in Florida? I have not had trouble with the gun before and had not shot it for about 4 months.

Is there good top lever spring tension on opening and tripping back? Likely a spring issue. Broken or weak.

The lever/spring seems to work fine. I don't have a way to measure the force, but it takes moderate force to open and seems to securely center upon closing.
