First time out and talk about luck ...
With my #1 frame top lever 12 gauge ,and the first time I dropped the hammer on a shell !
old Heiko had pinned this bird a total of 9 times before it offered a shot ,in fact I had not even seen it until the last point ,luckily I got it because I was beginning to think the old dog had lost his marbles !
I came by this gun a couple years ago ,bores are great ,locks up drum tight ,but some laddy got a hold of the idea to re checker the wood ,it was cut so deep and misshaped to the point I thought it couldn't be saved ,but there was enough meat left that I managed to set it right .
