Default NOMENCLATURE stocks

What term describes or identifies the flat area of the stock where the tear drop carving is on a DH

Cheek panels, action panels, side panels... There might be some other terms.
The "tear drops" are called drop points.

Cheeks is the term I've always heard spoken by the experienced collectors and the term I've always used.
