Parker Take-down, Barrel Release
I have a 12 G Parker that the barrels can only be removed if the hammers have been dropped. I have cleaned and lubed all internal parts and everything inside seems to be functioning properly. However, if the gun is "cocked" the barrels will not come off.
Ideas please!!!!
Thank you!!!!!

Bob,
I've seen this condition happen if the un-hooking slide spring is either weak or broken.
Try pulling the un-hooking slide pin forward from the knukle with the forearm off & see if the barrels will release when cocked. I suspect the cocking hook is still engaged & not releasing completely.
