From what I've observed all 125 appear to have been produced in a single run -- if we can assume that they were serialized as they were built. I have SCC 12-1548 and 12-1549.
Yours George at 1379 and the GB 1386 throws my theory of all 125 being built in a single run out the window.

Perhaps there were MORE than 125. Let’s see what numbers get posted. Victor??? |

Or George, another possibility is that they may not have been numbered chronologically.

no help here, George..I don't have a SCC.
I do have a standard 12g that's configured identical to a another I'm aware of that's 4 s/n's away from it. (pg,bt,sst). Now of course that doesn't show much of anything but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that 'lots' of 25, in some cases, were produced with the same configuration but who really knows?? It doesn't seem logical the factory would stray from a sequential/chronological numbering scheme but there again, who really knows? |

You're right Scot, it doesn't seem logical, but it did happen and there is someone that does know! . . . and it was told to me in a direct conversation I had with this individual that is very, very, very close to the Parker Reproduction project. The factory did indeed stray away from sequential/chronological numbering - not necessarily with the SCCs, but with another model. If it occurred with other models, it very well could have occurred with the Sporting Clays Classics as well.
