Nice job! A nice Parker against the tree. What length are those barrels? Be sure to share what gauge and load that you used to get those nice gobblers. I hope to do 1/2 as good as you tomorrow AM.

WOW! Don't forget to send for your doubles club pin. I thought a double on grouse, woodcock or quail was tough but this is really a tough double to bag.

My main squeeze is a Parker GHE double full choke and I use lead #5's for turkeys. It took a couple of hours to convince these old toms to come out of the swamp. I shot the first gobbler on the ground as he made his way out of cane thicket on the side of long leaf pine hill. The second bird, which I did not see with the first, took to the wing and flew broadside to me at about 20 yards. I gave him the second full choke barrel and he folded like a cheap lawn chair. I must say that shooting a gobbler on the wing with a Parker was quite a thrill, and to shoot two of them was something I had never experienced before. I am already looking forward to next years turkey season.
