That is a nice one and has the check hook barrels(which are nice on a lifter).

A checkhook lifter. This is outside of the normal transition period from Lifter to top action. Which was in the 25,000-26,000 area. So this was a gun that a customer specifically requested a lifter action when Parker was well into making top action guns.

Right Brian and I've only been aware of a few such guns... like that I could count on one hand.

To refinish the barrels and put barrels back on face, probably $500-650. Plus new butt plate. Do you load for a 10? If not, look for a 12. Ten gauge is real expensive to shoot now if you don’t reload.

At the moment it's not inexpensive to load for until THE NEW Remington decides to make SP-10 wads again , and even after that they'll most likely price them over the top .

I’ve had Gualandi wads for the 10 gauge on backorder about a year now . I have a decent supply of SP-10’s on my shelf and have 500+ already loaded with SO-10’s . But I’d “rather” stay with the same thing . I’m more in need of SP-8 wads then anything and I have a nice supply of Gualandi 8 gauge wads that work just fine with same powder and shot charges just need to add two more red beans as filler
