Just wondering if the number of paid members has grown since it states on the Membership page that we had around 1100 members in 2009 .

We have 1386 members today, including annual, life and honorary.

This number should increase on a weekly basis until the end of October when Mary Bowes will need to cull out those who, for various reasons, have not renewed their membership, just prior to sending the mailing list to the publisher for Parker Pages. This time Mary had to cull 67. It's inevitable and that 67 is not an unusual number.

I seeing a continuing growing interest in Parkers and feel the "new" youth program will greatly help. In my world several members where I shoot now have Parkers including a Master Class shooter that recently showed me his first. I showed a neighbor ,who shoots English guns, my A grade lifter this week and guess what, he is now looking for a Parker. I read the doom and gloom in a previous thread and I do not see it. A good friend that sells Parkers is doing twice the sales he did two years ago. The 12ga shooters have gotten cheep so encouraging new to Parker buyers. Let the good times roll!
