John,
My first guess is that it's your computer security but I'm running the same, 8/Kaspersky. Check the email security settings. I use Gmail which learns if I mark an email in the trash bin as "Not Trash". Mark

I have been having issues with almost all notifications from the site going into my junk box for the past 6 months. All of the sudden out of no where it went from getting them to not getting them. I can't figure out why.
I would think it more to have to do with your email provider, not your computer. As a sidebar, I am currently looking at a new computer and I am deffinately switching to a Mac. I am done carting around with Windows garbage.
