As many of you know the 2019 Vintage Cup will be held this year for the first time at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow in NE PA, on September 19-21. Spotted this poster today at the sporting club where my gang was shooting. Poster is a little large for one cell pic so I took two.
Man, I have fond memories of the "World Side by Side Shotgun Championship" when it was at Sandanona and Pintail Point. |

Right Frank, I used to love going to Pintail Point. What a great venue!
The PGCA Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday evening, the 21st of September this year in conjunction with the Vintage Gunner's event at Hausmann's. It should again be a great time. .

Sandanona and Addieville (my two favorite Vintagers) both had banquet facilities close by, as well as lodging. Hausmann's is a great Sporting Clay venue, but I am not familiar with any banquet facilities close to the shooting grounds. If they are close by the various hotels, that's great for most people. I have always camped at Hausmann's, so that may present a challenge.
Dover Plains was a nice location but that was short lived. |

I have no personal financial or other interest in Tall Pines although we've dined at the restaurant and had excellent meals many times. Just sayin. Last edited by Frank Srebro; 04-11-2019 at 02:36 PM.. Reason: Reworded to indicate a suggestion |

Frank, I agree that Tall Pines would be our go to when hosting an event at Ernie's. I love having meals at Tall Pines. Orvis Hill Country had their grand opening last weekend in Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Hill Country doesn't have a big banquet facility, but it is a few minutes from Gettysburg and 47 miles from my house. I think Hill Country will turn into a pretty nice sporting clays venue in the next few years with 500 acres of space. I have been there years before Orvis purchased the place, and it has possibilities.

That's good to know Frank. Is it official that it will be held there? It's right around the corner. Just gotta remember when leaving "Left, Right, Right"

Mike Franzen is our events coordinator and everything is in place. There will be announcements both here on the forum as well as in the summer issue of Parker Pages which should be hitting mailboxes after the middle of May.
