Reasonable price for DH 12ga with following specs

I'm new to the Parker community and was hoping you all could provide some assistance in valuing a SxS. It is a 12ga DH from 1896. It has been re-finished.

Specs:

1 1/2" frame
2-5/8" chambers
Skeleton buttstock
~>90% finish on Damascus barrels (comes with 28" and 30" barrel sets)
Factory case colors mostly silvered over (take a look at the attached photos)
No pitting in bores
Nice re-finish on stock and forends, no major nicks/dings in the wood

My best estimate is between $5,000-$6,000, but I am concerned about the lack of quality factory case colors.

The latest Blue Book estimate I have access to is almost 20 years old, so I'm guessing that significantly under estimates the current value.

Any thoughts on this?

Without precise barrel wall thickness measurements it is impossible to assign a value.
The screws appear to be about perfect and the overall condition looks pretty nice but...

I don't know that I see anything dishonest about the original post. He doesn't say he's trying to value it for "insurance purposes" and if he were to say he's got it for sale then he'd be violating the forum rules.

Seems to me he's just trying to figure out if he's got it valued to high. What's the harm in that.

But Mr Dudley seems to read nefarious intentions into a simple question of value. Can you explain what is dishonest about my intentions? I thought not...

To answer the question of barrel wall thickness, this is from the listing:

"For the 28” barrels, the wall thicknesses for the right barrel at 9” from the muzzle are .032/.027/.032 (top/side/bottom) and at the middle of the barrel are .033/.030/.033. For the left barrel the wall thicknesses are .032/.031/.026 and .035/.035/.025, respectively. For the 30” barrels, the wall thicknesses for the right barrels at 9” from the muzzle are .033/.033/.030 and at the middle of the barrel are .038/.041/.035. For the left barrel the wall thicknesses are .035/.035/.032 and .037/.041/.035, respectively."

Thanks Tom, I posted my question about wall thickness long before I learned it was for sale elsewhere with those measurements posted.

And those measurements are all well and good but I would much prefer to know the wall thiscknesses along the entire length of the tubes.

I once measures the chokes, chambers and nominal bore diameter of an AHE 16 with original fluid steel Acme barrels. I also measured the wall thicknesses.

As it turned out, the wall thickness on the right tube a bit more than 10 “ from the muzzle was .014” but only on the bottom of the tube and the wall thickness along the length of both tubes was very inconsistent.

And wonder of wonders, both forcing cones were lengthened to between 9” and 10”. This is why I always want to know the wall thickness along the entire length and all around the tube.

I don’t follow 12 gauge guns much, but from what I have seen that gun, in my opinion, is overpriced.
