Default Forend interchangeability

Will the forend off an original Parker fit on a reproduction of the same size ?

But most likely they will interchange. But this is not the case on original Parkers, just on the Reproductions.

My Repro DHE 28 gauge has a BHE or CHE original beavertail Parker forend as the second forend for a splinter two barrel set. I would like to find the gun that originally wore this forend, (long story) but have had no luck. The forend fits the Repro as well as the original Repro forend.
