Default Buy/Sells at mid year??

So it's been a good year for me so far improving my collection, sold a Parker Top Lever Grade 2 10ga, Fox A 12ga/28" near mint, Sterlingworth 20ga 26" high condition, two high condition Fox HE's and a Parker D 10ga /36" #6 frame. Bought a Fox AE 20ga/26" to flip , Parker DH 12ga Damascus 34" #3 frame, Parker O grade 8ga 34" Top Lever. Traded BH's with a couple of friends and I ended up with a really beautiful BHE straight grip 12ga 30" damascus . How about you???

Been a slow year. Sold a Model 70, have another on consignment. Bought an early Quality 2 precursor. Traded my Browning Superposed skeet set and got a VH 28.

Sold a very late Remington Parker VHE double trap gun and a Fox Sterly through bolt double trap. Bought a 20g 30” fox sterlingworth for a future custom project. Nearing completion of a Parker $225 grade Gustauve Young engraved lifter that I’ve been working on for 3 years off and on.

I finally was able to secure a small gauge high grade Parker with Damascus barrels from one of my favorite engraving periods and some rather rare ephemera from the same year as the gun. A very nice L. C. Smith 1901 4E 16 gauge with chain Damascus barrels is also now living in my safe waiting for bird season. Yesterday I picked up a short barreled, original condition VH 20 that will go after woodcock on our farm this Fall. We all need a gun for every season and all shooting conditions, right?

No guns have left the premises, as I am reminded daily by my Boss.

An affliction from which I suffer - both the guns and the reminders. The guns could come and go but the “ itis” won’t let them go. The reminders remain a constant. I figure some auctioneer can handle it all when it is estate time. 😇

I've bought two Model-21's this year. One is a DT 16ga for a custom upgrade project the other a 12ga DT ejector gun for waterfowl pursuits.

Getting ready to thin the heard of somewhere around 20 guns later this summer.

The 16 is in the process of converting it a flat side, straight stock, small BT forearm with a skeleton butt plate. I've done the machine & file work including lengthening the TG tang. The wood is almost ready for finish. Then it's off the be engraved.

I'm building the 12ga into my version of a duck gun by having the 30" barrel chambers lengthened to 3" and the left choke opened to .020" from .035"

A couple of pic's of the 16:

Hmmmm , I've sold a bunch of period ML's as well as some handguns .

Only thing of note I've picked up in the middle months were an SC 32” , DHE 20 30" and the Grade 2 top lever 12 32" a couple weeks ago . I WANT a VHE 28 30" but I'm about 3000% sure that isn't gonna happen

Oh yeah I also picked up a kinda well used Winchester Model 12 16 gauge with 30" full choke barrel . That was a weak moment thinking I might like shooting the pump class .
