1917 Parker Trojan
Thx for the reply. I thought that was how it breaks down, but I was afraid to use to much strength to pull down, maybe rusted tight?
I hang it on the advise of the gunsmith, also there is a small dent on one barrel. No need to chance it. |

You're from Hamilton, but what state?
Incidentally, you need to be careful in 'pulling' the forend off. You can break the end off of it if you don't get far enough under the tip - especially if rust or crud is holding it on. Take a look at this earlier thread... http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthr...ht=forend+tool .

We lived in Minford, Ohio for 7 years and enjoyed some of the best grouse, woodcock and duck hunting in those years. Ohio, especially southern Ohio is a great place to raise a family. Strong family and religious values in that part of the state, and terrific hunting!.
