I wouldn't worry too much about low pressure it would be recoil that will damage the stock, the 2 guns you want to shoot I them in will handle " modern " type amo as far as barrels holding up as long as barrels are sound.

Here are a few pics of the before, the greenhead hunt I had with it last fall before sending it in for work and a couple restoration progress pics. I'm the guy on the right in the light green/tan hoodie. |

Fantastic. I bet all guns dream of being in the field as much as that gun has been. And still having great days afield. Amazing hunt on the mallards and a couple pinnies?

Yes a limit of ducks (3 pinnies and 29 mallards) for 4 us that morning and a little under a half limit of honkers. Myself and my buddy in the pic were shooting our foxes(he has a 1912 Sterlingworth pin gun) and my two buddies from the US were shooting modern autoloaders. They were totally and completely in awe of the old sxs' pummeling the ducks and geese with 1oz Bismuth 4 1200fps loads!

Is that a western Canada pea field? That looks like a great day. Probably loaded with Huns and Sharpies up there too.

Harvested barley field. We are right on the northern-most edge of Hun country. We have them but bot in the abundance they do a few hours south and I've yet to see a Sharpie up here. We do have Ruffed Grouse and Spruce Grouse though and fantastic waterfowl opportunities plus mule deer, whitetail, moose, elk and black bears.
