Default 20 GA 28" Q1/Q2 Chokes

I bought a 20 Parker Reproduction 2 Barrel set from the Sept Morphys
Auction.
My interest was that both 26" and 28" barrels are choked Q1/Q2 and have all factory markings. Additionally the straight stock has a LOP of 15 1/4' and a Checkered Butt; maybe a replacement but it looks legit.
HAS ANYONE SEEN 28" 20ga BARRELS WITH Q1/Q2 CHOKING?
This is the only one I have ever run across.

Yes, I've seen a few sets of 20ga. 28" Q1/Q2 choked barrels through the years. They are scarce, but not unheard of. I owned one for a while and had it converted from a SST to double triggers then sold it to a fine gentleman that most of us know. I know of at least two other members here that either have or had one also; one of them had a 2-bbl. set, like yours with both barrel sets 26" & 28" choked Q1/Q2.

Bob, I have a 20ga REPRO with 28 inch Q1/Q2 barrels. The fellow I bought it from a couple years ago said it had another set of barrels originally but he did not know what happened to them. I believe the only cataloged way to get a set of 28 inch Q1/Q1 barrels in 20 ga was in a set such as you purchased. It doesn't make much sense, at least to me, to have a two barrel set, 26 inch and 28 inch, with both barrel sets choked the same. The thoughts on my gun is that the original owner wanted the 28 inch Q1/Q2 barrels and bought the set to get them, then promptly turned around and sold the 26 inch set to recoup some of his cost.
Anyway, congratulations on a great find.
