Default Old Style Sear Spring

I'm working on preserving a 1904 VH 12 gauge and need to replace one of the sear springs. Does anyone have a contact on where I can purchase one? I've tried everything that's come up on Google and no one seems to have one.

I had one break on an EH years ago, couldnt find one. My gunsmith had to make a new one by hand. Cost a couple of Benjamins.
Sometimes orphaned receivers appear on e-bay, but lately they seem to be parted out and sold piece by piece. Good luck.

Thanks Mike. Do you think your gunsmith would be willing to make one for me? If yes, would appreciate his contact info.

Default Sear Springs

I have two. PM me with your address and I will send them to you. If they work $50 for both, $35 for one. If they don’t work just send them back plus actual cost for mailing.

Default 16 Ga hammerless sear spring

A customer brought in a 16 ga hammerless SN 159910 with a 2 under it. I have looked high and low but have not found one. The style of it is one with a pin that holds it in the frame. Rather short. Numrich list it as old style and part 303.
If I have to, I can make it but prefer not to.

Nothing to braze. half of the spring is gone. I've got the right spring stock so unless I find one it's file and furnace time with a little lathe thrown in. It's a fun challenge making old time springs.
