If you buy the pad and it does not work you can always dispose of it here if you are a member. A job for a professional if you want it installed flawlessly. Hi Gregg, where in the US are you?
A Silvers style pad would likely be most appropriate, but it would probably be best if a good stock man were to install it for you. .

Since it was a family gun why not put back what the relative had on it? It is a Hawkins heart/diamond shaped pad, and you can find them at Brownells.
