Default How about this description?

From a very well-respected firm with over a century of experience selling and servicing high-end firearms.

Ha ha, good one Edgar! But, before the usual suspects thank you for your post, I can proudly and emphatically state that I had absolutely nothing to do with it, nor what David Trevallion wrote in that feature article in Shooting Sportsman magazine. Can you quote exactly what that statement was?

No, but I'll wager you can.

I totally understand your reluctance to repeat the quote and understand how painful it must be for you and a few others to utter those words. I give you credit, however; for responding as some others will pretend they’ve never seen that quote — especially from such an authoritative source — even though, we know and they know, it’s etched in their minds.

I can honestly say that I've never seen the quote you speak of.. Care to share?

Use your investigative skills and then report back, please.

I stopped my investigative skills when I retired.

I believe this is the article folks are referring to https://shootingsportsman.com/parkerrepro/

Personally, I appreciate all Parkers with the exception of those funky over/unders marked Parker..

No reluctance, nor pain either Greg. I totally get your enthusiasm for the Repro. I've had a few, all 28s, and my daughter absolutely loves the 2bbl set I gave her. As I recall, her words were "It's so pretty".
All kidding aside I think the Repro was a well thought out undertaking, and while we latch onto the occasional complaints in our 'mini war' the gun has filled a niche where getting into the original has a price entry point which limits some. The inevitable argument may be 'how well are they standing up when they reach 100 years, and beyond'?
Do you remember the movie The Stepford Wives? The 'perfect clones', without the human faults. They were beautiful but without a soul. When the Repros celebrate their centennial, I have no doubt they, too, will have a soul.
What is it they say? Imitation Is The Greatest Form of Flattery.
