Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

Stolen Parker Gun
We inherited a Parker handgun, 9 millimeter with serial number G46517.
Unfortunately, the sheriffs department confiscated the gun because our relative was found dead at his house. I guess some or all states do that. Anyway, after getting clearance to pick-up the guns-----The sheriffs office says they can't find them and that there is a criminal investigation going on.
They actually lost 15 of 16 guns. They are sending us forms to complete to claim the loss as the department is liable. Since we have never seen the guns we will have a hard time figuring all this out.
Does anyone have any idea how to figure this out with only the information they gave us on their inventory?
Thanks so much.

The sheriff lost 15/16 guns?? Not likely. For me, this situation has an odor about it and sounds very suspicious. I'd be pounding on the mayors door and quickly making an issue of this. I'd put that sheriff on the spot publicly as quickly as I could, in the local paper and any way I could. Get a lawyer and raise some hell if necessary. Parker Bros. did not make handguns by the way.
