Default Forum Concerns

My friend Bill Faulk has received a surprise BAN from ever posting on this forum again, without any prior notice or explanation. He believes it is because he posted a political cartoon depicting Obama and Biden standing on front of the Titanic.
Maybe this was not the proper forum, but it sure does not sound like
a proper action by our moderators. I have known Bill for some time and he is
a gentleman and shotgun enthusiast and does not deserve this treatment.
I think whomever has banned him should respond to this with a clear explanation for this overreaction.

It saddens me to hear this ! I am sure the man meant / wished no harm to anyone if that being the reason.

Leighton, I agree with you 110 percent! I think this "getting banned for life" crap is just that, crap. Unless the man threatened the life or health of any other person he deserves a warning and a second chance. I'm sure Everyone here has said a few words that they wish they had back.

Perhaps Mr Faulk is able to call John Dunkle, and if he deems appropriate, tell him its crap and demand an explanation for what he considers an unfair overreaction to his numerous partisan political messages on a Parker shotgun general information forum.

Or, another approach he might consider, is to politely ask John what he might do to get back on the forum if that is important to him.

His choice.

I doubt that he would call John DUnkle after this display of political arrogance.

Gentlemen,

Mr. Faulk has been warned on several occasions about his inflammatory posts and distasteful pictures and cartoons. His posting privileges have previously been suspended for three days with a clear explanation as to why. Mr Faulk has chosen to ignore (or challenge) these several warnings. The eventual outcome was thoroughly spelled out to him. I'm sure Mr Faulk is a nice guy but he seems to believe the rules of PGCA forum etiquette do not apply to him. It is unfortunate when it becomes necessary to ban someone from using the forum but it has never been done without just cause.

Three strikes, and Bill was out.... Two warnings - and he ignored the third.... If someone reads the description of the Member Off Topic forum, perhaps one of you gents could tell me what it says about politics or political threads? I do believe it is in bold, and was and is - since the day I set that OT forum up.

If anyone told you he recieved no warnings (yes, that is plural), perhaps that same person shouldn't be on this forum.

Just from my end of the telescope.

Best to all...!

And by the way.....

You can all read his first warning post here, which Bill changed the thread title to:

"Got the message"

Guess he didn't, not so much...

Here is that post/thread:

Careful what folks tell you.

Have a great evening,
