Bruce, Those are a couple of fine looking Ds (?). One a SE quail getter and the other a Cal. fowler? Here's another 20ga, 0 frame, 32"er with its extra 28"ers. A VHE with a whole lot less condition; #190872 with no records available

This VHE straight grip with 1 frame and 32 inch barrels is also 20 ga. and was used by a trap shooter that traveled the west coast and worked for Du Pont Powder and later Western Cartridge Co. The Barrels are geting a little thin but I still use it on occasion. Charles Dockendorf was the original owner. Thanks Thomas

Regulars here are probably getting tired of it, but here is my 2-frame quality 2 32-inch 20-gauge --
![]() Started life a a 2-frame Damascus barrel 12-gauge in 1889, but got a number 2 set of 32-inch 3-inch chambered 20-gauge Vulcan Steel barrels and forearm along with a new bolt and the post-1910 bolt plates, sometime between 1918 and about 1926. It is currantly with Craig Libhart for new wood of more suitable dimensions. Originl stock is 2 inch drop-at-comb and 3 1/8 inch drop-at-heel. |
