Heat fryer oil to 350, put anything from diced eel to a ptarmigan breast in a bag of Golden Dipt breading mix and shake, drop breaded game in fryer 'till golden brown. Serve outdoors with cold beer.
On a serious note, Brian makes a good point, I am always looking for new ways to cook game (especially that don't involve the fryer) and I'm not very good at saving recipes. Posting some here would be a great reference. |

There's nothing like fresh snowshoe hare on the grille. When I'm at deer camp and there's snow on the ground I am always on the lookout for that black marble eyeball against a completely white background. When I spot one I simply aim for that black marble with my . . . ah . . . my Parker, yeah that's it, my Parker and put the bunny in the game pouch of my deer hunting jacket. Back at camp I simply quarter it (actually it's in five pieces including the backbone with backstraps and loins) and grille it with nothing on it. It tastes just like the dark meat of a turkey - one of my favorite meals.
