Smile P.G.I & S Bible

Recieved my Bible today and had to go get my 1 Frame hammer 12 Ga. and take a look and darn not in the book. I will have to send for my letter and see what it shows. Here are some pictures. It has 28 1/2 inch barrels so they are probably cut and a couple small chips in wood but other that she is a keeper. The weight is 7.25 pounds so it should be easy to carry in the field. Thanks Thomas

Cut would be fine with me. Get the letter anyhow. After forty some years of collecting Damascus Parkers, I fired my first smokeless shells out of a Damascus gun at the Hammer Gun event at the L.C. Smith versus Parker shoot in 2009. It is a rare high condition lightweight Grade 1 #1 frame gun that I just love to shoot. It did not blow up, so I have been shooting smokeless out of my Damascus guns ever since. This great gun was displayed in Kevin McCormack's display of lightweight Damascus Parkers at the Baltimore Show. The "lightweight Damascus" display was first seen at the PGCA booth at the Stamford Fine Guns show a few years ago.

1 frame hammer guns seem special to me. I never had a 1 frame until about 4 months ago , enjoyed it so much I found it a mate, 1 frame gh with 28 inch tubes. They are both up to my shooting standards now, and I have a hard time choosing which to take. I have been curious how many 1 frames are out there. TPS says there were not many made after 1900. Took me 1 year to find my D2 hammer gun.
