Hello I need assistance.

I am considering the purchase of a Parker shotgun but I have no idea what the gun is worth as I have never heard or seen of another Parker like it.

The gun is a 12 Ga. CHE with 3 sets barrels. The vent rib barrel is 32 inches long and I can not tell what the chokes are. The second barrel is 28 inches long matt ribbed choked mod/full. The third barrel is 28 inches long matt ribbed choked sheet/skeet. The barrels are all bright with no visible rust or pitting. The barrel exteriors are unblemished. The gun appears to be almost new. See attached photos. If you need additional phots please let me know and I will post them. All serfial numbers match.

The gun is original and has not been refinished.

Any help as to what I should pay would be appreciated.

It looks like the lower rib on the vent rib barrel set is coming loose... or maybe just a shadow.

As far as the three sets of barrels is concerned a research letter may tell you something but, judging from the apparent era the gun was made in you may not be able to get a letter on it. It looks like the serial number range may be in the 230,XXX range, right?

It looks to have some Remington markings but the pictures aren't big enough to be certain.

By the way... that pad has to go.

Would it be common for a 3 barrel set to have differen't stamps on the flats.

The one visible SN indicates 1928 manufacture and that there are surviving records to support a research letter. It is not listed in the ID&Serialization book.

Do all three barrels show the same SN as the frame???

The left side of the stock at the nose of the comb looks a little different. Or is that just the picture? Is there just one forend or three?

You are correct about the lower rib it is starting to seperate but only just slightly at the muzzle.

I got the letter but have misplace it at the moment it did say that the gun was returnted twice to parker for credit. I cannot rember if it came with all three sets of barrels originally or if a set of barrells was added each time it was returned for credit. but the serial numbers on all of the barrells match. The serial # is 229818 and is on the forend, trigger guard as well as the water table.

Yes I agree the pad must go, I am hoping the skeleton plate is floating around some where but that is probably being optomistic.

I think it's just a reflection Dave.

That stock has the trap style of comb... noticably wider at the front than the fine taper of other stocks of the Meriden Parkers.
