Parkers were always high status and expensive guns. For example, the bottom grade Parker cost 3x a Winchester.

Interesting. However how come I can't find any WInchester 73 models for less than a 1000, but I can find plenty of Parkers for under a grand.

Am I looking in the wrong places? Don't bother to answer, it's only a rhetorical question.
