Default Nebraska Project

Somebody should get to the Cabela's at LaVista and snap up this fully optioned NID No. 4E 12-gauge on the Magnum-frame --

Their text doesn't mention the frame, but the pictures show it.

Seems like an interesting Magnum, 30' & 28" barrels, 2 barrel sets are rarely seen in the magnums.

Are they stamped 2 3/4" chambers or did they really check the chambers??

The Hawkins Pad is typical on the Magnums, an early one with cocking indicators, serial # 500,034

I have already recorded three fully optioned Magnum-framed 12-gauge high grade, No. 4E & 5E, 500031/2/8 and all three of them have the longer, nicer looking beavertails that Ithaca went to circa 1935.

Stan, were you able to read that serial number off Cabela's poor photos?

No Dave,

Their picture was just not clear enough, a phone call did the trick
