Hope the pictures are attached. I was given this gun when I was 13. I had gun oil for my BB gun so I"d rub the parker with it.Removed rust and kept bores nice and shiny. My grandfather fed the family with this gun.

The book tells me it left the factory as a 28" VH (extractor, not ejector) Pistol gripped 16ga. Exactly what my father's first Parker was, 94 years ago.

I'm from Maryland also, Damascus on the Western Shore, and am interested in what part of Maryland you are from. Now that you know your gun is not a 20, you can start searching for some 16 gauge ammunition.
