Default A Tardy Report

Spent a week up Alaska way trying to knock a few species off the life list and managed three out of four.

King Eider (scrappy plumage but I don't mount them anyway)

Aleutian Teal

Harlequin Duck

Willow Ptarmigan

The late season brant were spooky so it was layout hunting only which ain't my game.

The weather was never right to go far enough out for Pacific Eider sadly. The Kings were pure luck when we were out for Harlequin and save me a painful expensive trip to St. Paul.

Are those target balls or net floats? Very handsome layout. With the right editing tools, which I have yet to master, that could be a Wyeth painting.
