Default 6 blade barrel

I recently acquired Parker D grade 10 ga. hammer gun # 96343 (featured in the The Parker Story in several locations). I am told this gun previously belonged to Charles Price, one of the authors. I have the letter and the gun originally had 2 barrels. The second "lite" barrel was a refit in 1907 of "new 6 blade barrels" choked cyl and mod. What is a 6 blade barrel?

Obviously, if anyone knows the whereabouts of the second barrel, I would love to acquire it. It is a great gun and the barrel I have is choked full and extra full. I enjoyed shooting pheasants with it and at the Southern SxS. What a great event and thanks to all the members who work so hard to make it happen.

That's a great gun, Scott. Wish I had kept it. Hope it serves you well. Charlie Price
