What, and limit yourself to only one shot ?
C'mon now Destry . . . I don't think so. Cute gun though. How long is the barrel? |

Destry.
Thats one ugly gun. I know of a WH Davenport single 8 with 36 inch barrell and 4 inch chamber. for sale at pantile vintage guns £950. I prefer my front stuffing Wallis 8. Pete. |

My local gunshop here in SE Pennsylvania had a 36" Shattuck 8 bore single for the longest time. It was no thing of beauty either. But, it was a servicable 8 and sold for $500 eventually...

Destry;
That gun could work wonders in the hands of a proctologist. What arsenol is the supplier of ammo for that Howitzer? Friend Roger BTW keep that thing off of the gun rack I made for you, not near pretty enough Last edited by C Roger Giles; 08-14-2009 at 09:05 AM.. Reason: add info |

It does look like an Iver Johnson, but the only other markings on it are Model 1929.
It's a 3 inch 12 gauge, barrel is 36 inches. I just bought it on a lark, the markings were too good to pass up. DLH P.S. to Don: Two different friends had those Marlin guns when I was growing up, one a 12 and the other a 10. I'd have had one long ago just for fun but the left handed thing sorta kills it.
