Default CHE forend tip assistance

I need to know what, if any, engraving was applied to the exposed end of the forend tip screw on the CHE (grade 4). I believe the rear latch screw had a cross-hatch pattern, if anyone can confirm this as well it would be greatly appreciated. Photos would be even more appreciated. I did find a couple photos under the Parker grades section but the tip screw was unclear. It looked plain but I need to be sure.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best regards, Dan

Bruce,

Not sure of the exact year, it is fairly early, the serial # is in the 19,000's.

Thanks for any help!

Dan

So its a lifter. Can't help you. I just posted photos of a 1905 hammerless. A 19,000 SN gun is not a CHE.

There is a lifter C tip in my album at http://parkerguns.org/forums/album.php?albumid=122 run the mouse over the pictures and it should tell you which one it is (sorry I can't be more specific). Click on it when you find it and the picture will enlarge. Maybe this will help, I'm not sure what you are looking for.

If you need a C lifter pictured, I can take some pictures for you but it will be a few days before I can get to it.

I may be off on the serial number, I'm away from the shop at the moment. It is a hammerless gun.

Hard to tell with the glare - it appears that the tip screw is cross-hatched like the latch screw?

Thanks, Dan

I have one as well, an 1896 CH with no cross-hatching of the screw tip and no engraving of the screw head like on the AHE tip I have.
