Default New Era shotshells

Most of us like to use low pressure ammo in our old guns. RST makes great low pressure shotshells. I use them and see them recomended on this and other sights.
I noticed a link to New Era ammo. Has anyone on this board tried it? How does it compare to RST?
Thanks Dave

Dave I have four flats sitting in the basement waiting to be fired, I have shot probabably 1000 to 1500 rounds. They are great and equal to RST's, nice thing is if you need a custom load of a couple of flats Brian (New Era) can help you out . Both companies are great. Eric

RST passes on the special load requests to Brian Erickson of New Era Ammunition. I have shot both in 16 gauge (non-special loads) and have not noticed any difference.

If you ever have the opportunity you will discover that Brian Erickson and Alex Pape of RST are both great guys whom it is a pleasure to shoot with! They understand what customers desire in their ammunition.

Thanks for the response. I'll call them today and maybe give them an order.

I reload for most all my shooting though when I do buy shotgun shells they are RST's. They are a wonderful product, but more importantly I am loyal to Morris Baker and Alex Papp. The year I was able to attend the Southern, Morris all but adopted me.

Harry, do you mean that Morris bought a Parker from you?

I had the opportunity to have a phone conversation with Alex from RST last week. I talked with Brian from New Era today. I was very impressed with the time and attention they both gave me. I'll only be ordering a couple of flats for now but I was treated as though I was buying truck load.

Bill,

Morris wouldn't want one of my culled Parkers. He did, however, give me alot of shells and he kept me in 12 year old single malt whisky. Plus he never showed being tired of me hanging around like a stray dog....

Dave,
My wife and I shoot RST's and New Era's and like both products equally as well. The owners of each of these fine companies’s have in the past generously donated cases of their shells to our PGCA silent auction. That's just one more good reason to give them our support when in need of low pressure ammo for our beloved Parkers.

Harry, Morris Baker is the roots of the Vintage Gun game. We should all be grateful to him and Alex for their attention to our shooters.
