Default Two Barrel Set

In case there is any interest, I noticed an 1892 two barrel set on Gunbroker. The link is: https://www.gunbroker.com/Item/950595013

It is in WV and is a 2 frame D grade 12, 30" barrels. The original pictures were bad and not much info, but I have written to him a few times and have had more pictures and info posted. As far as I can tell it appears to be an 1892 Damascus with everything original. I believe everything is marked consistently for a proper two barrel set, and the book shows it exactly as it is pictured. Certainly not a pristine gun but looks untouched as to changes and may clean up into a nice representative graded 2 barrel set. The one thing I haven't been able to get yet is bore condition and chokes. Starting price isn't a low one, so no bids without more info or pictures.

I have never had any interest in 2 or 3 barrel sets. Never liked the concept for a user, and don't have an interest as a collector (no way to display and kind of pointless to me personally). Just thought I would post an alert to it in case anyone is looking for one. If he getsno bids on a 14day auction, he may reduce the starting price.

Multi set barrels is how they changed chokes back in the day. I had a two barrel set 20 gauge (now sold) that was IM/Full, and IC/Mod that the original owner switched back and forth between ducks, and upland birds.
The idea has merit.

Martinsburg, Wv is in the eastern panhandle, close to DC and Maryland. Decent gun.

I like two barrel sets if they are made to suit me. Two gauge, two barrel sets are interesting, like my DHE 16/20 and my Verona 28/.410.
