Default The 'Refuge'

I finally have some pictures I'd like to post and currently have them on my desktop as Jpegs. Could someone walk me carefully through the process of doing this...thanks in advance. Brian

Okay, the files were rejected both collectively and individually. I was hoping filing single pics would overcome the size problem...guess not. Perhaps, there is a way to reformat the Jpegs to a less 'roomy' size? I'm lost.
