Default Off to a good start in 2011

By all accounts I should start 2011 with a new old gun. While it's not a Parker (you can't have everything) the big brown truck (UPS) should deliver a mint pre 64 M70 in .264 Win Mag

I just picked up a nice Colt Match Target so I finish the year with a gun and start off the new year with a gun. Now if I can find a Parker 20ga Damascuss gun life would be wonderfull.

Yes Dean I did find one, nice DH receiver pretty much silvered, nice pattern on the barrels, 28" tubes and oh it has a set of 16 ga barrels too. Started life as a 16 and gun was sent back to Parker for the 20 ga barrels (all in the letter) neat. Eric

Very nice - congratulations! I hope you bring it to an event we'll both be at in the very near future.

Thanks Calvin. It's a bit overbore but as I have a Pre 64 FWT 264 I wanted a STD grade. In the FWT you don't get the performance out of the shorter bbl, might as well shoot the 270 or 280. As this was priced far below what I have seen them going for and it's in excellent condition I asked Santa and he approved so it's a Merry X-Mass and Happy New Year to me
