Default New to me

Just got this VH in hand. 1 1/2 frame, 30" full x full. Appears untouched, barrels are .7295 x .7300, MWT over .040 everywhere, chokes measure correct, screws beautiful and all correctly oriented except the one under lever. It's a bit outta "clock" but undamaged. Barrels inside are very nice, no pitting, chambers original 2 1/2". She's got some honest miles on her, a few duck blind beauty marks but no dents. Bought for those late season shy, nervous ducks. Can't wait to roll some #4 bismuth outta these tubes!

I was quite pleased. My 12 ga.s are all 1 1/2s with 28" barrels, FxM. I've been kinda looking for a 30" FxF when this popped up. The seller was realistic on the $$, the gun, to my eye, looked pretty nice as well as original so I decided to "pull the trigger". My agreement with the seller was when I received the gun it had to measure within reason and the barrels had to be basically pit free (he couldn't give me an MWT and had no bore scope). I looked it over and saw nothing objectionable, a dead match to the book as well, so Smokey (my veteran duck chaser) gets a new shotgun. She's delighted!

Congrats, I just bought a 28" VH, that is just a couple hundred serial number ahead of yours in similar shape. Shot some clays with it over the weekend.

I managed to get out late Sunday and shot a few. This ain't a teal or quail gun! Needed those clays to fly a bit before you went after them. I didn't get a chance to pattern it but sure shot tight.
