The delivery man brought me an anticipated present today. The firearm is exceptional in every way and after combing over every detail, I was very pleased. However, heart stopped a little when I saw the serial number mismatch. The 3rd digit on the trigger guard, underside stamp, and inlet are one digit off the barrel, forarm, and water table. Could this be a mixup at the factory? The trigger guard inlet marking looks more like 209 to the eye than it does in the picture where it looks like the third digit to be either a 9 or an 8. I can't imagine somebody making this mistake if they were attempting a forgery.
What do you think??
