Good read
Last week I ordered from Mercer University Press and read " While there still Wild Birds " by Richard Rankin. Very enjoyable personal account of the end of the wild bird hunting that alot of us in the south grew up with. Sad but true. Gone are the days. Remember getting rid of my last pointer after the 1979 season ended. It just was not worth it anymore. But, I will always recall the good days and I was just around for a few years of at the very tail end when bird hunting was a way of life in the south.
