round ball load
today i recieved a 10 ga winchester round ball load i ve been after one of these loads for a while..it is a winchester repeater load very early loading the ball weighs 1 1/8 ounce i have not found the powder charged that was used just yet...it is yellow paper hull and low brass hull the color is good the lead ball isoxidized some....also got another round ball load made by the u s c com. lowell 10 ga it is made up of black paper low brass hull the lead ball does not have the cut out wadding over the ball like the winchester does..from my reading about this wad over the ball it gives more accuracy..the ball is lose in the black shell... i now have the 10 ga a 12 ga a 16 ga and a 24 ga in round ball or pumpkin ball loads i need the 20 ga a 28 ga and a 32 ga round ball loads to fill out my little collection...collecting old ammo is a fun hobby....charlie
